Kevin Durant Hosts a New Years Eve Bash
Happy New Year, viagra Divas! It looks like many of the NBA players kicked off 2014 in style. Oklahoma City Thunder’s forward Kevin Durant recently hosted a New Years Eve bash with Angela Simmons at OKC’s Chevy Bricktown events center. Durant looks cool and collective in a snap-back hat and a gray sweater donned with gold chains.
As tradition has it, the OKC Thunder played a NYE home game at the Chesapeake Energy Arena. What should have been a blow-pout win turned out to be a 98-94 loss. It was just the second home loss for the Thunder (25-6). Durant scored 37 points with 14 rebounds, which were both team highs. He was indeed a beast…until the fourth quarter where he only scored one point.
Carmelo and Lala Anthony‘s NYE FAB
It’s great to see Carmelo Anthony win again–off the court that is. He and his fab wife, Lala were photographed at a New Years Eve event in New York City. The couple made sure that they closed off 2013 off in impeccable style. Lala rocks a sexy black bustier as Carmelo sports a white sweater, a gold chain and black glasses.
Could Carmelo’s cigar be a celebratory statement for his possible split from the New York Knicks? A former (anonymous) team mate recently came out and voiced his thoughts about Carmelo leaving the Knicks. Now, I can understand Melo walking away from a 9-21 team record. I cannot, however, see him walking away from a franchise player’s lucrative contract. We shall see how this turns out.
Brandon Jennings Sports an All-Blue Ensemble
The 90’s are back! At least it looks like it. All Brandon Jennings is missing is a Kid and Play fade to complete this look. The Detroit Piston’s Point Guard sports an all-blue En Noir ensemble. He takes a mirror selfie in an En Noir Cobalt Button Up with the matching Pin Tuck Leather Sweatpants. He completes his 90’s getup with a fresh pair of Timbaland boots. It looks like he is enjoying his five-day break with the Pistons. They recently experienced a disappointing 106-99 loss to the Washington Wizards. The Pistons need to use their time off to change up their rotation. This is the only way that their (many) L’s can become W’s. Jennings was also instrumental in changing the location of their morning shoot-outs at the Palace (where Piston games take place). That seems like common sense. Why not practice where you are actually going to play? Nice one, Jennings.
NBA wants to change heritage Jerseys Next Season
I don’t know whose bright idea it was to make sleeved jerseys. All I know is that they are no friend of mine. The NBA, however, seems to love them.
For the 2014-15 season, the “heritage jerseys” of NBA teams will be converted to sleeved jerseys. Like I’ve said before…I like
biceps classic jerseys so I don’t know about these new get-ups. I would, however buy them for myself…so the league might be on to something.
The league apparently holds the position that they can sell more jerseys because more people would wear short-sleeved jerseys rather than tank tops.
Kat Graham in Chicago Bulls Jacket
The fabulous Kat Graham recently posed in a Terry Richardson shoot rocking a leather Chicago Bulls jacket. The 24 year-old actress/model paired the look with red pumps…and not much else. Who would have thought that an over-sized leather jacket could be so seductive?
The Bulls recently lost to the Rudy Gay-less Toronto Raptors (85-79). Although Luol Deng was back from an injury, Chicago was unable to snag the win. The Raptors surprisingly hold the fourth seed in the Eastern conference.
Although the Chicago Bulls are going through a tough time, it makes me happy to see them being fabulously represented!
Well, that’s it for now Divas! No worries. I will definitely be back next week to keep you fabulously posted on NBA fashion and hot topics!
