If you love your nightlife as much as you love your Cubs and Blackhawks these next two weeks are full of athlete-hosted parties that are sure to brighten up the darkest days of January. SDI Founder Monica Murphy Vargas visited FOX Good Day Chicago to offer details on the bevy of upcoming fundraiser parties hosted at some of Chicago’s hottest spots.

- Thursday, cialis January 16: David DeJesus Family Foundation hosts “Strike A Chord” Karaoke Fundraiser at American Junkie: You may remember this former Cubs outfielder for his stunning looks or his gorgeous, socially-active, Chicago-native wife, Kim. DeJesus was traded to the Tampa Bay Rays at the end of the 2013 season but stays active in the Chicago charity scene with the David DeJesus Foundation that helps families in crisis who lack access to basic human needs in Chicago.
David and Kim will be joined by other Cubs and their WAGs for an evening of karaoke, food and cocktails that is sure to be entertaining and full of local celebs and great fashion. - Friday, January 17: Kerry Wood’s Winter Warm-Up at Harry Caray’s at Navy Pier: It’s back-to-back parties for these former Cubs leading up to the annual Cubs Convention January 18-19. Former Cubs pitcher and fan favorite Kerry Wood hosts his 3rd annual Woody’s Winter Warm-up on Friday, an event that is turning into the ‘see and be seen’ winter event in the Chicago sports world. A long list of former and current Cubs, local media and local celebs will serve as guest bartenders as they compete for tips that will be donated to the Wood Family Foundation. Attendees can meet and greet with current Cubs players, enjoy a silent auction, premium open bar, dinner buffet, DJ and special appearance by Robert Randolph. - Monday, January 20: Duncan Keith Relief Benefit Concert at Joe’s On Weed Street: The Blackhawks sexy defensemen will host alongside wife Kelly-Rae as hundreds of fans gather to hear country music sensation (and Keith’s buddy) Lee Brice. Proceeds benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana and Keith’s charity, Keith Relief. For those ladies on a budget, this one is a no-brainer. Regular admission is $60.00 and includes concert and a three-hour drink package. Want to rub elbows with your favorite Hawks? That will cost you. VIP tickets are $250.00 and include a VIP reception prior to the show, drinks, apps and the chance to mingle with your favorite Blackhawks (actual players that will be present is TBD). - Friday, January 24: Bryan Bickell’s Fetching Affair at Paris Club: Blackhawks big man Bryan Bickell and new wife Amanda will host a Friday night party at none other than Paris Club with proceeds benefiting the Bryan and Amanda Bickell Foundation that supports programs for pit bulls and abused children. This event is already sold out, however, you can sign up for the wait list or try to wiggle your way in upstairs after the event wraps at 10:00pm to catch many of the Blackhawks at one of their favorite late-night hangouts.
