SM Roundup: Ditka Day, Bears Hang with Pippen and the Hawks Play with Pups

Happy Tuesday, treatment divas! All of us Bears fans have a little extra pep in our step today after last nights’ incredible Bears win over the Cowboys. While temps continued to dip this past week with unbearable cold driving us indoors, rx thankfully we’ve had some great sports action and social media activity to keep us busy. Let’s get right to it.

Our Bears were on fire last night despite the freezing temperatures. “Victory! #Bears defeat the Cowboys 45-28 on Monday Night Football to move to 7-6 on the season #DALvsCHI #BelieveInMonsters”

The Bears honored the great Mike Ditka at Soldier Field on Monday Night. During halftime Da Coach gave an inspirational speech to the city of Chicago and Bears fans worldwide. “#Bears #DALvs.CHI #DitkaDay”

Brandon Marshall Instagrammed another picture to honor Mike Ditka on Monday. “#MNF Congratulations Iron Mike. #beardown”

Before the game a few of our favorite players posted pictures of their pre-game look. Brandon Marshall was looking classy as always with his bow tie and crimson double-breasted coat. “#MNF 0?”

Devin Hester posted this picture of his pre-game outfit. “My boo @ama_zing123 been trying to get me to dress like this for about 5 years now. Game day #Beardown”

We’re starting to see a lot of Christmas posts from our athletes as they prepare for the upcoming holiday. Earlier in the week Kyle Long posted a picture of the Bears’ Christmas tree! “Christmas at Work”

Whenever LeBron and the Heat come to town, you know the who’s who of the Chicago athlete community are going to turn up. Tim Jennings, Alshon Jeffery and Earl Bennett all made it to the big matchup on Thursday night and shared their photos over Instagram.

Tim Jennings posted this picture of his game time view. “#bullsvsheat game!!! Excuse me….taxi!!!”

The incredible Alshon Jeffery was also at the Bulls vs. Heat game. “My type of night”

Alshon wasn’t the only Bears player to meet Scottie Pippen that night. Earl Bennett also posted a picture with the basketball legend.

Our Blackhawks were pretty quiet on social media this week, perhaps in response to their 3-game skid they were on before ending it Sunday night against the Panthers.

Bryan Bickell posted this picture of a few of the guys helping out with his charity. “The boys helping to find some new homes for the pups. @shawz65 @bollig87”

On to our WAGs Section! Elina Cassel Hjalmarsson posted this adorable picture of her baby bump and a baby Hawks jersey. “Photoshoot time”

How is she dealing with pregnancy cravings? Apparently she has been giving into some of them. She posted this picture of a half of a donut. “I have almost ate a whole donut and now I feel guilty, but it was so good” Well Elina, I’m not pregnant and I would have eaten the whole thing, so don’t feel too guilty.

Speaking of baby bumps, Siggi Bennett posted this picture after the game on Monday. “Victory Tuesday tomorrow! @ddforte789 @jess_bushrod74” She also tweeted to her hubby about media coverage…

The always busy Amanda Bickell found some time to go to the Bears game on Monday night. “Had fun and met some great people at the Bears game tonight. #89”

Lastly, Michi Marshall posted this amazing picture of her hubby Brandon Marshall at the game. “@chicagobears @btm15 Oooh I see you Bae… Da Bears ! #LetsGetIt”

That’s all we have for you today, divas! Have a great week and stay warm!
