Our HAM of the Week (Definition #2) is none other than hottie with the body, Ryan Lochte of the US Men’s Swim Team.
With overwhelming requests from our readers, we just had to oblige and choose him as our HAM to close out our Olympic coverage. Can you blame us?
As with all HAMs, these guys must be single to qualify, and as we all know – thanks to Lochte’s public statements about being single during the Olympics – Lochte is definitely flying solo these days. I am not sure where to begin on this one; I can’t seem to focus after looking at all the Lochte photos on the internet #YOWZA… Let’s face it, we are all watching swimming with dual intentions. As if being one of the being one of the best swimmers in the world wasn’t enough, Lochte boasts a hot, toned, chiseled body, a bit of swag and a killer smile.
Lochte is one of the older and single members of the U.S swim team. The 28 year-old (Happy Belated Birthday) native from Florida is one of the world’s top male swimmers at 6’2″ and 196 lbs. The University of Florida grad comes from a family of swimmers – Lochte was taught to swim at the age of five by both of his parents.
Lochte won gold in the 400IM, 4X200 Relay (alongside fellow eye candy Conor Dwyer, Ricky Bernes & Michael Phelps), Silver in the 200 IM, 4X100 Relay, and a Bronze in the 200 Backstroke.
Lochte’s singleton status has recently been called into question after an awkward TODAY interview with his mother, when she claimed that Ryan only has time for “one-night stands”. Really, Mom? We’re guessing she meant her beloved boy is too busy for a full time relationship, but she could’ve phrased it a little better.
When Lochte wraps up his races he says he will be hightailing it to a local pub; “I want to drink, chant with all the soccer hooligans and get rowdy”. We’re sure Lochte will have no problems finding ladies to get rowdy with. In fact, if Lochte needs to unwind a bit upon his return to the states as a decorated Olympian, and happens to be in the Chicago area on one of the expected Olympian tours – please look us up!
