Happy Friday Sportsanistas! All is right in the world….why you say? Because it’s football time once again. Last night kicked off the Chicago Bears’ preseason where the Bears battled, and struggled, against the Denver Broncos. If you missed the game, no bigs, check out the SportDivas recap here! With the Bears season now underway, I mean there is really only one thing to talk about…..what do you wear to a Bears game?? Not to worry little fashionistas – I’ll be making recs all season long as fashion changes as often as pre-season rankings this time of year.
A while back we all chatted about alternative options to wear at Chicago baseball games and tailored fashion choices based on the season. Well, football fashion will go from one extreme to the next from the beginning to the end of the season. The end of Fall and Winter TOTALLY cramp my style when attending a game. I mean you try and make wearing two pairs of pants, five pairs of socks and an over-sized puffy look cute! With the Summer season becoming more and more dim as the days go by, time is running out for you to wear fashionable pieces to a Bears game, so….we better work quick! Here are a few pieces from starting line-up for this Fall/Summer season.
I love vintage anything and when it comes in the form of game day gear, I like it even more. Check out this DARLING tank by Junk Food sold at the NFLshop.com. I may or may not have purchased it while doing research for this post! Rock it at a Summer game with a pair of shorts and maybe some cowboys…if you like that. Yeehaw! OR strut this tank in that Fall with a pair of ripped denim and a green cargo jacket like this one from Zara! They don’t call it a TOUCHDOWN tank for nothing!
For those brisk Fall mornings we are going to continue to keep it in the vintage family. This vintage grey 3/4 tee also by Junk Food, also sold at the NFLshop.com, is super dope!
The cotton is super comfortable and made for three hour games, plus a little time for some tailgating. The coolest part? Check out the back (shown here in photo). For a Fall game pair this top with some dark denim and a great pair of brown leather boots! Top if off with this DARLING lightweight scarf from FansEdge to keep you warm from that breeze off the lake! I mean, how cute would this look with a navy blue puffy vest! Ah, I love it!
Last, but certainly not least, Victoria’s Secret creates a cute collection for all NFL teams each year; so cute that you debate buying items from other teams because the pieces are so cute! I’m a big fan of the mullet movement….in fashion, not hair.…therefore, this top speaks to me!
