The NBA & NHL Playoffs continued last night with another thrilling Western Conference Finals show-down between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs and a shut-out game by the LA Kings over the New Jersey Devils.  Both games are very buzz-worthy this a.m.  Here’s the scoop:

Oklahoma City Thunder Take 3-2 Lead Over the San Antonio Spurs – Momentum of Series Shifts

Kevin Durant led the young and dynamic Oklahoma City Thunder team to a 108 -103 win on the road against the San Antonio Spurs, buy viagra giving the Thunder a 3-2 lead in the series after trailing to the Spurs 0-2 just last week.  The fashion-forward Durant had 27 points and has fashion-in-crime partner, clinic Russell Westbrook had 23 as they handed the Spurs their 3rd consecutive loss in 5 days.  The Spurs have not lost 3 consecutive games all season long and were thought to be favorites in this series after riding a 20-game winning streak.

The gears have shifted in this series as the older Spurs now must win 2 back-to-back games in order to win the series and advance to the NBA Finals.  Game 6 is Wednesday night in Oklahoma City who’s crowd is notorious for being rowdy.  It’s going to take everything the Spurs have to beat this surging OK City Thunder team.  This series just went from good to great.

LA Kings are 1-win away from winning the Stanley Cup

Some sympathy for the Devils is just about due.  The Devils were shut out again last night 4-0 by the LA Kings in Game 3 in LA.  The Kings are now just one win away from winning the Stanley Cup, a first in franchise history.  King’s goalie, Jonathan Quickhad his 3rd shut-out of the season (allowing zero goals).  The Devils will need to win 4 consecutive games to win the Stanley Cup – if they can do this almost impossible accomplishment, it would only be the 4th time in NHL history that a team has bounced back from an 0-3 deficit.  Game 4 is Wednesday night in LA.
